Nil, our most painterly member, has been exploring the use of mason stains in her work. Maison stains can be mixed and blended, creating a wide array of shades and colors, and applied above an enamel base. Here, she has explored bold abstract shapes and hues, using graphite to give sharp delineations between each section of color.
